The Ottawa Coalition of Business Improvement Areas (OCOBIA) is proud to partner with Invest Ottawa and Trexity, a same-day tech-based delivery courier service, to offer 100 of Ottawa’s merchant businesses a $250 credit to try out the platform – no commitment and no catch.
The partnership was made possible by funding from FedDev Ontario, through their impactful Digital Main Street program; helping businesses improve with upgraded technology and an increased online presence to thrive beyond the pandemic.
“In a time where our main street businesses are strained financially, we are very happy to partner with Invest Ottawa and Trexity to provide free local delivery services to merchants,” said Mark Kaluski, chair of OCOBIA. “This credited service will put money back into merchants’ pockets.”
To be eligible, the small business must be registered in Ontario and in a commercial area or BIA within Greater Ottawa. An existing online store is not required, though Trexity does integrate with Ecommerce platforms like Shopify.
Local merchants can save money and impress their customers:
- $250 credit for free deliveries (estimated at 16 deliveries)
- Compete with Amazon by offering same-day delivery to their customers
- Track drivers in real-time; they know when Trexity will pick up and deliver
- Zero obligation to Trexity; it is a commitment-free trial
The first 100 businesses to register via this link will be eligible for their $250 credit: www.trexity.com/ocobia
Once a business registers, a Trexity concierge will be in contact with the business to determine how they can best suit their needs.
