With a municipal election on the horizon, OCOBIA Chief Advocate Michelle Groulx says the coalition is setting its sights on growing Ottawa’s BIA footprint by five new organizations by 2030. Recent expansions — including the Centretown BIA and Downtown BIA — reflect a broader push to bring BIA representation to underserved commercial areas across the city. OCOBIA will also be engaging with candidates and council on key business issues throughout the election cycle.
